HORRAY!!!!!!!
So I get a phone call this morning right after getting off at the coffee shop..... it is one of my friends, and former bosses at Pierce.... and she tells me that this guy Chad, a guy that I have job shadowed before for events that he supervises at Pierce, cant make this huge event, and that he specifically said that he wanted me to do it!!!
Let me try and make this make more sense..... This weekend The Rotary Club is renting out Pierce College for one of their HUGE events (they bring in three bars, and everyone gets drunk, and they spend thousands on auctions.... the last one they had half naked fire fighters that they were auctioning off, and it was all western themed so they built a huge barn in the fireside lounge...)
Anyway, The Special events cordinator is the Pierce rep for the whole event... the go to man, and the one responsible for everything........ and it is going to be me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a PR student's dream come true!!!! I hardly believe it..... and they are paying me $300 to do it..... for two days! It is going to be really hard work, and entirely stressful, but thats perfect!! I get to do what I love!!!!
Oh OH oHHH..... and the best part is, that if I do a good job..... when Chad leaves permanentaly( which I guess he is near doing) I GET THIS JOB !!!
