what runs through an exfilmmaker's mind at 1 in the morning

this is so old, but it is so amazing. http://www.tokyoplastic.com/dm.html its an animation for tokyo plastic that they released as a teaser right before they debuted(?) in 2004. Takes some paying attention to, it's actually interactive to a fault so you can't just click one thing and let it play. if you think it's stalling or it's finished, it's probably waiting for you to click something. when it's done, you'll know. these are the people responsible for a lot of the yaris commercials with the cars eating stuff. they like that kinda thing, i guess. anyway, have fun!

[EDIT] you guys are smart peoples, thats why I hang out with you so you've probably already experienced the genius and beauty that is mark romanek. thus it follows that you've already googled him and tripped over his website and watched all the music videos and comms he's been responsible for. but even so, I wanted to share with you two of his ads that have been on my mind recently, 'anna' and 'danny'. simple. daylit. voice over. clean. http://www.markromanek.com/spots/04.html is danny. http://www.markromanek.com/spots/03.html is anna.

LADY SNOWBLOOD.

I mentioned this film a while ago, but i know no one believed me when I said it was kill bill before there was kill bill. this is the trailer and no it doesn't have subtitles (but you speak japanese don't you? if you do, you will recognize some of the dialogue that tarantino lifted and used in his films). you will of course recognize some of the music from kill bill and trust me if you ever see this lady snowblood, you'll find the similarities don't stop there.
