I just suddenly realised that our current credit based consumer economy is nothing more than a company store writ large, where we're lent money by our employers at inflated rates that can only be spent at the employer's store, meaning the entire result is life-time indenture to the employer and a net transfer of every product of our labour and wealth to them.
At this point Billy is probably going "well, duh."
