bored with Xmas food.

Once again, I'm having my mother over for a quiet Xmas lunch, just her and me - it's a bit of a tradition, and something I've grown to quite like.

But I'm bored with the food. Cooked bird, ham, some fresh asparagus, new potatos, etc etc.

So, anyone have any other suggestions for alternative things to have for an Christmas lunch?
