I once again wish I had $1,000 to spare. My grandfather's 75th birthday is in August, and he wants someone to come there early to be the deliverer of a boat motor. He even claims he'll save so much money by buying the motor in American dollars that he can pay for half of a plane ticket. It also looks like I'm the most likely candidate...but in the end none of us can afford it?

I miss them, I miss Europe. Why must the Czech Republic be so far away and so expensive to get to?
