MACHETE!
I caught PREDATORS last night, and enjoyed it. It was nice to see our favorite intergalactic hunters once more in a movie that didn't make me want to gouge out my frontal lobe with a spork. It was well done, I thought.
However, for sheer awesomeness, you can't beat one of the trailers running ahead of PREDATORS. For your viewing delight: MACHETE
Of all the faux trailers Rodriquez and Tarantino included in GRINDHOUSE, this was the one I said I would most like to see made into an actual movie.
(WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS was a close second, but I'm glad MACHETE was the one that came to fruition.)
Gossip sites point out the clear lack of any Lindsay Lohan in this piece, despite the fact she's in the movie. Timing is everything, I suppose.
Life permitting, I'm planning on seeing MACHETE on opening night! Better clear my calendar for 9/3/10.
