Time is relative?
Why is it the administration is free to take its time to debate the merits of sending additional troops into Afghanistan to win that war, but we must rush a massive piece of legislation that will have profound and lasting impact on our nation through overnight?
I'm all in favor of an intelligent and well-considered reform of the health insurance industry. I don't see why this has to get crammed through without time to read or refine it.
(that's not entirely true... I understand why it's essential politically for this administration to get it done pronto... but that doesn't make it right.)
