Everyone's home for summer!
Friday we had a nice "summer kick off" party at gary's. If the party was any indication of how the rest of the summer is going to be... then I am excited. It was good people, good music, good drinks, and good cigars.
Unfortunately, Gary and Stu are leaving for Europe in just two days. The party is going to last another month for them while I am at work :( Oh well, I am super stoked for them (I just wish I could go).
Even though I've been working a lot, I think it is the best thing for me right now since the band isn't going at full force with some of our guys being gone for so long. I'm making good money and it takes my mind off of some of the things that have been bugging me lately. However, I can't totally ignore those things which is why live journal is so convienient :) One thing I have really been missing lately is being in a relationship ... a REAL relationship. I haven't had one in nearly 2 years and haven't gotten over the girl (which is probably why I am still single). It is so much harder to find someone when you aren't in school and aren't really into the whole bar/club scene or whatever. I'm not the kind of guy who could just go up to someone I find attractive and start up a conversation. School makes meeting someone a lot easier. You are around that person all the time and you get to know them a lot easier. Growing up is just hard I guess. It's exciting, scary, erratic, and even depressing at times. I've always been a believer that things happen for a reason and at the time they are meant to happen. Besides, I might wish I was single if I was in a relationship right now anyway. Who knows. Things will work out.
