Things I did in the past two weeks
Took a train from coast to coast.
Waited around to see the green flash when the sun was setting over the Pacific Ocean.
Contemplated climbing a palm tree to see The Tempest at an outdoor theater (hey, tickets were like 80 bucks).
Bought a piano.
Attempted to hire illegal immigrant laborers to help me move one of those really old TVs that weighs at least a ton.
Wandered into a nude beach on a night of the full moon and ended up joining a hippy bonfire for a little while, where everyone was clothed, friendly, and even mostly sober.
Made friends with biologists at a music store.
Purchased jasmine shrubs and a small lemon tree for my balcony.
Assembled a computer desk.
Did not succeed in finding a diner. (first sign of missing Jersey)
So what? I'm in California.
