1 Canadian dollar = 0.937295 U.S. dollars

What does that mean to you?  According to the intelligent (no, he really was, just not on this particular issue) federal agent I was talking to last night, it means that the Canadian dollar is worth more than the U.S. dollar.  Huh?  Now I don't mean to be rude, but I am, so I say something like, "are you fucking kidding me!??"  He goes on to ( Read more... )

money, exchange, huh, stoopidity

Would it be better if I came over that way? Do you want to come over to the pub? Is there somewhere over there you would like to show off to me? Hmmm...

Not right now, the house is a wreck. :) Pub is good. We have a pub here but I don't know what the clientele is like. And I don't know what they have on draft.

Oh come on. You can come over, I'll clean and then, I'm going to be researching point buy systems for D&D.

It's going to be so much fun!

Theoretically we could do that. We do have alcohol here. And we could watch the Eddie Izzard stuff I lent to Tim because I ASSUME he hasn't watched it with you yet since I lent him Brotherhood of the Wolf like fifteen years ago and he returned it unwatched. :P

Well yeah, but I was kinda kidding. I'll be geeking out and you deserve a night out. We can party collectively some other time.

I'd never kick you out, but I think y'all should do something special.

Whatever suits you. I get to go out far more often than you these days, so it doesn't matter to me. Where ever you are most comfortable and will have the most fun :-)

As for the Eddie Izzard stuff, I started watching it and I think Tim watched one or two also, but I don't think either one of us has finished. No surprise there ;-P

Let's do the pub, I haven't had anything on draft for a dog's age.

any time really works for me. :) When's the best time to be there? What are your obligations?

Fixing dinner for the family, waiting for Tim to get home (he was already planning on going to the pub tonight), and that's about it. You want to come here first or just meet at the pub? 7-ish?

She's napping right now, but I promise I'll wake her up in the next hour so she can get on her way.
