"The next morning, Soubi goes to visit Nisei who's being held captive. Nisei complains about the treatment he's receiving. He infers from Soubi's expression that Soubi means to harm him, so he warns Soubi that Seimei will be angry if he does. However, Soubi says that's not why here. He grabs Nisei's arm and Nisei tells him to stop. Then Soubi asks Nisei how long he and Seimei have been together. Nisei suggests that Soubi should be concerned about someone else. Soubi tries to look at Nisei's finger (where his "name" is written) and Nisei shouts out that it hurts. If Soubi breaks Nisei's finger, Seimei's finger will also break. Soubi gets a look at Nisei's finger and he's shocked.
Meanwhile, Youji and Natsuo show up at Nagisa's in suspiciously fancy clothes. When questioned, they say they're here to help. Nagisa says she has a meeting so she has to go. But Youji and Natsuo sense that something is bothering her. They ask if they can do anything, but Nagisa says no. She wants them to stay out of it now.
Youji and Natsuo go to breakfast. They are upset that Nagisa doesn't find them useful. They see Ai and Midori approaching the room where Ritsuka and Soubi were sleeping. Midori is suspicious when he sees Youji and Natsuo, but Youij says they are just there to eat breakfast. Midori says there's a rumor that Ritsuka was summoned to the old school building. He says he knows Youji and Natsuo transfer to new schools often, but Youji denies it. He thanks Ai for giving him a Band Aid for his cheek. Inside the room, Ritsuka hears them talking and opens the door. He says that Soubi isn't there. They all crowd around him asking if he's hurt, did he sleep well, should they bring him breakfast.
Seven is in her "observation place" assessing the damage from the previous night. The Seven Moons have decided to meet, but they can't. Seven tells Nagisa that not everyone is present. Someone named Chouma has been gone since this morning. Aoyagi's (Seimei) place is empty. Ritsu Minami is not there. Nagisa Sagan and Nana (Seven) Saotome are here, but Chouma has disappeared, after Gomon and Kunuza. Nagisa demands an explanation for Chouma's absence since he can't move. Seven says that only his wheelchair remains. Nagisa suspects it's Seimei's doing. Seven says that Gomon said Seimei came for this purpose, and Seven herself thinks so, too.
Ritsuka asks about the old school building. Youji explains that they are currently in the new school building, but the old school building is the place of the Seven Moons. Ritsuka figures he's been called there so he can meet with them. He wants to take Seimei and Soubi and Kio back home. Everyone tells him he can't do that. Ritsuka wants to know why not. Natsuo admits it may be possible for someone like Soubi. But Ritsuka insists that Seimei is his brother, and since he found out he's alive, he's taking him home. Youji warns him that it's foolish to let your guard down around Seimei since people around him die. He's dangerous if you don't take precautions. At that moment, Soubi comes into the room. He announces that Seimei has kidnapped Kio."
