It was plain to see that the tall, thin creature belonged irrevocably to someone else, but it didn't stop D from stroking the back of Noitra's hand, so gently, and promising him that if ever he grew bored, there was a petshop not far away that would be more than welcoming.

Vesca could only stare, and occasionally sputter, as a grinning Noitra rested his chin on D's shoulder and curled close around his back, hands smoothing down the Chinese man's hips almost possessively while D twittered, smugly, "Isn't he just darling?"

It was extremely off-putting to be able to see Noitra pressing calculated, open-mouthed kisses across D's shoulders while Vesca himself ran his hands down D's sides and sucked at his collarbone, but given the way D was reacting to the addition of Vesca's frustration-gritted teeth into the mix, he didn't suppose it was prudent to complain about the Arrancar.

Vesca had unleashed some kind of monster, telling Noitra that his company was not appreciated - the Arrancar seemed to spend every moment that the agent was around trying to find the perfect moment to step up behind him and breathe onto the back of his neck, or tongue his ear teasingly.

Vesca has never tried asking for bits of D's cooking before they were properly done, so when Noitra slithers up behind the man and urges D to give him an early taste of today's biscuit selection, Vesca's not sure whether he's more appalled at the break in tradition, or the fact that D actually gives it to him.

The first time Yachiru had crawled too near the fire, there'd been tears and wailing enough that he'd wanted to rip out her voicebox - but the next time, the fruit had taught her that charcoal sticks were good for drawing on Baldy's head, and Kenpachi had just watched bemusedly as the kid tried it with a stick that was still maybe a little too hot for Ikkaku's comfort.
