I do feel a bit sorry for John. So much has changed and some of it is NOT easy to deal with. :-( I don't know that I'd survive being thrust so far into the future either.

Congrats to Emma/Deborah though! Great news! And moving her to London is perfect to give her a new start.

This whole fic is just such a wonderful read, Buttons!!

Yeah - John always bugged me and re-re-re-watching to write for this ep didn't make him grow on me at all. Hence the scene in the coffee shop. If he got all het-up about Emma, you gotta think he wouldn't handle something like this well! So glad it worked!
