With this ring, I thee wed...

Jun 25, 2006 21:08

Of course, the wedding was very... well... it was interesting. It was funny how we were all so young that we didn't know how to act in situations like this. Ah, but we will learn, we will learn soon.

I am still frustrated- I was not a very responsible friend to Eden and I really wished I could have seen her more.

Also, having natalie and melissa over and here was exactly what I needed. Natalie and I spent some time relaxing near the docks- the boueys (sp) would rock back and fourth and make a gentle chorus of chimes and it was fun to watch the boats go by- very, very relaxing. I want to do it again soon. It's funny how you can become close to people very gradually and then suddenly you realize you can spend hours with them, sitting on a concrete slab in the sun and watching boats go by.

I also am having some troubles with religion, but not with spirituality. As in: I believe in God, and then ten commandments, and especially loving the neighbor, but I have some issues (slash, a lot of issues- and yes I just wrote "slash") with scriptures. I'm going to mull over it a little bit more, but it was interesting how much I am still figuring all of this out.

Plus, I got another offer to sell my earrings. Marissa Heilman (sister to Lizzy odhner- Chad's wife) is doing a craft fair on july 26 and said that I could sell them for about fourteen dollars each- so I am going to make some right after this post. Ag- I can't make them fast enough! I suppose/know that's a really good thing, and I'm excited. I think I'll sell them for fourteen each and if I don't sell a lot- then I have more places to do it, and if I do, then I made a heck of a lot of money.

Also, I'm excited to get my camera becuase that will give me something to do towards earrings/money outside. I can bike to the botanic gardens and take close-up pictures of flowers, or other beautiful things around. I'm excited.

In addition! Today Greg David, Jon Allen, and Twitch (natalie, I can't stop calling him that now) a.k.a. Ethan Glenn were still in town. Ethan, Greg and I walked down to Viccinos (sp) and we had deep-dish pizza (I also had some the day before with Natalie, so I'm pizzaed-out). We then rented a movie at the library and Jon came over- whatever, all of this is silly. Basically, Ethan, Jon, Greg, Keg and I sat in my backyard and talked for four hours and then keg went home and I cooked them pad thai and they left. It was really nice, becuase I barely know Jon and Greg (and I didn't realize how nice they both were- it was a very plesant surprise), and I hadn't talked to Ethan in a while, and Keg is always fun to hang out with. Also, I made the boys dinner and I felt really good being able to provide something to other people. This is the first time I've been able to give a bryn athyn person a home-cooked meal. Well, I'm not sure about when Dylan, Dylan, and Woody came, but it felt really good anyway. It was nice to have guests at my own house, becuase it's been so long, and even then, Eden was really the only friend I had in Glenview and she's allergic to cats. I like providing.

So that was a very boring update, but I wrote it anyway. Plus, this was exactly what I needed, becuase I was getting desperate for human contact, as mentioned before.

Sehr Liebe,
Abs.

p.s. NIX- the goddess of darkness. When I have a black cat, this will be it's name.
