Scurrrdddd!!!!
Ok, so I am basically graduated. I am taking one class this summer in order to graduate. I will be done on July 13th and will commission into the Active Duty Army as a Second Lieutenant. I leave either the end of August or beginning of September for the east coast. I will be driving to the east coast by myself. If anyone wants to go towards mississippi they are more than welcome to accompany on my drive!!!
I will be in mississippi for one month and then will go to engineer school where i will learn to build things and blow them up. Well.... not just that, but yea. After my training i will be stationed in Texas. I hear is is nice there, but i'll be the judge of that! At least i'll have my motorcycle! I swear... it's a life saver!
So, some of you don't know, i have a boyfriend now. It has been soooo long since i have had one. The last one was a real asshole. So yea... anyone know alex landon.... STAY AWAY!!! My boyfriends name is Russell Veirs. He has a bachelor of arts in classical sax performance at UC Davis and his masters as Sacramento State. He is sooooo good at sax! It's been nice finally being with someone that treats me with respect, constantly makes me laugh, is from the bay area and knows all the same places like me, and loves to go on adventures. I keep telling him about Jamie! I can't wait till she gets back! :) Hopefully we'll be able to take our road trip to Oregon to see our Army mom and well.... umm... Chief. lol :)
So, not to many weeks ago, my mom called me and told me that she is not only engaged, but she is moving to Alaska. Sheesh! The guy she is with is really nice. They have been dating for about 3 or 4 years now... i think... My only beef with the whole schpeal is that he broke up with her on Valentines day this year and ended up getting back together. First of all, he broke up with her because he wants children of his own and my mom has her tubes tied. He knew this from the start! Sheesh! So, he moved to Alaska to be a fisherman and missed my mom too much so he decided to propose to her... something nobody has ever done... I'm still trying to figure out if he proposed over the phone like a moron or not! Oh well. I'm happy for her. I just don't know how i am going to make it to her wedding in August.
I am supposed to go to Hawaii at the end of July. My boyfriends brother is getting married. I LOVE his fiance! She is soooo cool! She grew up in Hawaii, so they are having the wedding there. I am taking a military flight out of Travis AFB for free in order to be able to go, since tickets are about $900 right now. :( I am excited to go there and travel around and take pictures :) I hope to go running and swim a lot! Maybe even surf? I dunno. we'll see! I want to do as many things as possible! That's all i know!
Well, i'm procrastinating doing homework now... it's kinda hard to motivate myself to do it since i kinda already graduated... oh well. I am looking forward to seeing as many people as possible before i leave. It will be one lonely trip to the east coast and hopefully a fun 6 years on active duty. I know i will learn a lot and have experiences that i'll never forget. Wish me luck because umm... yea... I'M SCARED!
