it's true that the fact that even though both of you are probably inspired by the Soineya article that you linked, the fact that Sungmin was singing for Donghae...in a bar...seems sort of ripped off, sorry. And I would like to point out something to you, dear.
pla·gia·rize
v. pla·gia·rized, pla·gia·riz·ing, pla·gia·riz·es
1. To use and pass off (the ideas or writings of another) as one's own.
2. To appropriate for use as one's own passages or ideas from (another).
3. To put forth as original to oneself the ideas or words of another.
yeah, um. if you wanted to write an article on soineya, you could've done without that scene. i was dubious at first to read this fic but hey, soineya is cute and i like the idea of it and i like haemin, so it's probably not all that different that someone else decided to write the idea. but then when you wrote that little snippet - and the fact that Sungmin wants to be an idol and Donghae was almost a dancer? really? - kind of set me completely down on the story. are you sure that you never read that fic before and hailed inspiration from it? beacuse y'know, the similarities aren't helping you right now.
you could have pulled it off originally - you really could have, your writing is really nice - but you blew it. this is ridiculous. i'm not reading any of your fics again, sorry. (icing to the cake - i actually read your fics before you ripped off my friend, who told me that someone had stolen ideas from her fic without her permission and lo and behold - probably the only haemin writer i read does it. nice job. not gonna stand for that though, sorry.)
i'd like it if you'd apologize to her, or at least say that you were inspired by her fic if you can't do anything else. most probably you'll reply to me in a sort of mildly polite, condescending way, explaining that you didn't plagiarize blah blah blah and all that. i'll wait for it. or maybe i'll wait and see if you'll actually do something about the wrong you commited.

That being said, I am really, really sorry your friend thought I was stealing the idea from her, and I'm going to go leave her a message on tumblr as soon as I'm done writing this comment to see what she would like me to do about it. I understand completely if you don't want to read any of my fics ever again, and I really feel bad about the whole situation.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, though. Like I said, I would never want to plagiarize someone else's work, even if it is unintentional, so I'll try to sort this out and hopefully make it right.

even if you didn't mean it - which you probably didn't, i dunno - she's still not going to get over it soon.
thanks for being one of the people who talk about this rationally. you don't need to do anything drastic, just hang in there, and yeah hopefully all this will be sorted out soon.
