Aion
K so, the past couple days I got a chance to play Aion after doing some elaborate process to register for the chinese beta and switch the interface to english xD.
IT IS SO COOL. It really is kind of a cross between Guild Wars and WoW. The beginning quests are like shorter versions of WoW beginning quests, but I DIDN'T EVEN CARE BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS SO PRETTY.
The character creation itself is fun, omg x). You can mess with proportions and everything.. I made Bitte w/ a more floofy hair do:

Yeah they had Alyx hair so I had to make her lol
And I attempted a Teal'c xD

But anyway.. I'm kind of pissed that I didn't take any screenshots of the scenery because I ran out of time before I knew I could run out of time lol.
The skills are all chain skills basically, so they're like assassin in Guild Wars and swordmaster in Warhammer. The map system is like Guild Wars where you can see all the enemies and NPCs on the mini map, and you can fast travel between towns that are pretty close together with the teleporter, which is basically like being flown in WoW (i.e. real time) but it is a lot faster. And of course, at level 10 you get wings so you can fly around yourself, anyway. I played for about 3 hours total and I got to levelll 7 I think. And you get your "mount" at lvl 10. Yayyyy
The only thing I didn't like was that some of the emotes and like, the voices were pretty animu, but then again it's only out in Korea and the Chinese beta just ended. I'm hoping the english version will get a bit of a makeover haha
