leaving this town

not yet heading back to california,
i'm making a pit stop in guatemala....
home of the fair trade coffee beans.
i'm leaving in three hours and have to admit that i am frightened
by the thought of strange and foreign things.
i sometimes like to pretend that i am latina,
but indeed, i am not....
this is new to me.
two weeks out of my comfort zone.
