vacation's all i ever wanted
the first time i saw this sign,
i must have misinterpreted every word i read
because i found it to be hilarious
i hope that you too will find the same thrill out of it as i did
my three day getaway to cape cod was delightful!
i soaked in a salt water bath otherwise known as the atlantic ocean,
sipped on a bloody mary at eleven in the morning in an attempt to watch whales
witnessed the lives of the adolescents of hyannis defying their ten o'clock curfew on main street
dug through barrels of salt water taffy at four dollars a pound
ran into a crossdresser and her stroller of baby dolls as he screamed to a passer-by "they have your eyes!!!
i realized that i'm really just a simple gal,
all i need in life to be happy are some cocktails and a beach
and you'll never hear a peep out of me.
