Warped Tour
I'm so excited. I just found out that I'm gonna be working the Warped Tour this year. I haven't worked a concert in the longest time. Hmmm...I think the last one I did was Audiovent with Daniel, and that had to be at least a year and a half ago, I don't remember exactly when it was. Lets see...Rachel was dating Brian at the time, so that would put it right around 2 summers ago. So I guess it's been 2 years. If anyone knows of a more recent concert I have worked and I just forgot about please tell me, hahaha. The best concert I have ever worked has got to be Sugarcult/Unwritten Law, that was so much fun. But anyway, this post is supposed to be about Warped, not these other shows, hehehe....
OK, so I will be working in the AP booth. AP Magazine is a major sponsor of Warped, and their booth hosts all of the autograph signings that are held throughout the day. So basically I will be helping with the autograph signings, probably making sure the kids don't get too rowdy, lol...and helping out with whatever else they need, probably doing some promotions for their magazine as well. I'll be working with AP's Director of Marketing, which is pretty cool, since that's basically the kind of job I want to have someday, so it will be great to meet and work with him for the day.
So they put together a group of four of us to work the show, but two people have already said they can't do it. So I'm hoping they let me bring a friend like they have done in the past when they needed extra people. If I could bring Daniel that would be even better =)
Well, that's about it. Oh yeah, Sugarcult will be performing there, so I'm very excited about seeing them. I love Sugarcult. And since they are one of the main acts they will probably have an autograph signing in my booth. That would be awesome if they do, that would totally make my day =) I'm so excited. So if anyone is gonna be at Warped in Pompano on July 31 come visit me at the AP booth!
