24 Weeks!!!!

Oct 01, 2008 11:52

We made it! Today is 24 weeks, which is important because it is considered the point of viability for twins!!! So if something horrible happens, they can still (most likely) save the babies independent of me! Yippie!

And.... my belly button has officially given up. It's been fighting to exist, but this morning, there is no question. It's gone. Bye ( Read more... )

Only 12 more weeks to go! You're over 2/3rds of the way there.

It's so hard to believe! It's flown by. Jake and I were discussing last night how it seemed like we just found out we were pregnant last week... but it's been months! And it's just so hard to wrap my mind around the concept that in less than 90 days I'll have two baby boys.... wow.

I'm gonna go clean something and get grounded again... there must be some socks to match or something. :)

No joke! I didn't understand before becoming pregnant what the big deal was. Now... well, it's HUGE! And honestly, I never thought I'd make it to 24 weeks and not be on complete bed rest, so I'm so darn proud that I CAN fold laundry! :) All this "taking breaks" and "sitting down" really has made a difference!

I have to say that the twin kick fights are awesome, my favorite part was to eat one of those yogurt granola bars or drinking a glass of cold water and just sitting back and watching them go at it.

May be disturbing to some, but it was a true highlight for me :)

I'm loving it. I totally weirded out the neighbors' kids as they FREAKED when my belly button moved yesterday (as it is now an outie, you can easily see when they kick or move under it!). Makes me giggle... except when the kick fight starts at 1am and is violent enough to actually wake me up for the full hour.... then, less amusing. :)
