Strange...everyone seems to be working up to their potenial lately. I've watched many different people come into my world and walk away from it. It doesn't bother me. There are seven guys that I have become close to here in the past seven months. Since Jon and I hooked up, I've met many of his friends, but only a few of them really stand out as good friends of mine now.
Nathan, who is Jon's "best good friend", is such a sweetheart. He's a daddy to a not yet one year bouncing baby boy named Shawn. His "baby's mama" and the love of his life is Shanice. She's one of those girls that you just instantly want to be friends with when you meet her. She and I get along so well. We drive Jon and Nathan crazy. *laughs*
David, whose parents own the building that the guys live in, is nothing short of a nut. He's the only person, besides Jon, who can be a seriously harsh joker and me not freak out over it. He's mexican and just like a big teddy bear.
Jake...What can be said about Jake? He's wirey with an imagination that could gross out the "Fear Factor" people. He's as hyper as his dog, Socks, with much better listening ability.
J.D., whose thought proccess defies modern logic, is definately different. He makes his own weapons and such. He's one of the few guys I can actually say is more creative than myself. Oh yeah, he also has a dog, Shaggy, who is appropriately named.
Robert reminds me of my best guy friend back in Tennessee. He's wirey like Jake with a much more down to earth personality than most of the guys. He seems to clean without warning whenever needed. He's just a "neat" person. *laughs*
Dudeman, whose real name shall remain a secret to you, is the most brilliant person I've ever met. He was always smart apparently, but after a tramatic brain injury from a car accident, he's been different. I didn't know him till long after this injury happenned, but it seems to me that he's gotten smarter. He has so many ideas about making the world a better place, and I like every idea he's thrown my way.
Now, last but definately not least, Jon...he's my baby, and I love him. He's really helped me to not be so closed minded. His thoughts on the world are much like Dudeman's, but he's not as passionate about it as Dudeman is. He's started writing a book. I'm really proud of him. He's got the first chapter done and is in the process of finishing the second. He never ceases to amaze me.
These guys have made an impact on my life that I can't thank them enough for causing. Each one has caused me to be a better person in their own way. I've been learning from them since I started hanging out with them, and I won't stop learning till I'm dead.
I guess I'll never know what my life would be like without their help, and I like it just fine that way.
