I've wanted to study in the US ever since I was in primary school. It's really lame, but it's something I've always wanted to do. The other day, when the sun was shining and I felt like I had the world at my fingertips, I began thinking about what it would be like. I thought, if it's offered, I could do my dip ed. or equivalent in the US. Well today I took the plunge and began to search. Curtin offers courses overseas for partnership Unis so you're still enrolled at Curtin but you're studying somewhere else. The University of South Illinois offers exactly what I was looking for. A 15 month course for post grads, prac included. The campus is stunning, it's surrounded by a lake and it was founded last century! It's right near all the states I've always wanted to visit; Michigan, Chicago and New York isn't far either. So here's the thing, in 2009 do I enrol?
Thoughts?
