Summary: Vincent and Yuffie watch the kids.
He watched her sitting on the floor with Marlene and Denzel, putting together a puzzle of the sakura blossoms in Wutai. There was such a look of happiness on the child’s face that the ninja playing with her couldn’t help but laugh.
He had at first wanted to protest when Yuffie had offered the two of them up as babysitters for the children, but one pout from the ninja silence him. He had to admit, to himself at least, that he really wasn’t minding watching the children. They weren’t really bothering him, and the look of happiness on Yuffie’s face was enough to make this whole thing worth it.
Later that night, once the kids were tucked into bed and they were waiting to be relieved of their babysitting duty, she would curl up in his lap and ask him if he had enjoyed watching the kids.
He would lie and say no.
She would kiss the corner of his mouth and laugh at his lie.
