ONE WONDERFUL ONE SHORT DAY

Feb 07, 2005 21:26

Absolutely the most incredible thing I have ever experienced in my whole entire life.
It beats RENT. It beats Les Mis. It beats Phantom. It beats the feeling I got while watching the fireworks in Disney World. It beats my first kiss. It beats the endless hours I spent with my best friends this summer. It beats the adrenaline rush of being in show, though I don’t think it would beat performing in this particular show. (OH MY GOODNESS WHAT A DREAM!)
I was shaking the entire time. And if I wasn't shaking, I was in tears. And if I wasn't in tears, I was smiling like a goofball. And if I was doing none of the above, it is because I was in shock.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about yet, you must not know me.
Of course, I am talking about Wicked, which I saw yesterday (Sunday) with Danit, Sandy, Mrs. Danit, little Danit, and little Sandy. What a day.

I was completely thrilled with Shoshana Bean. She is not Idina, but I loved her nonetheless. Jennifer Laura Thompson was…lovely, in word. And David Ayers…what an exquisite Fiyero. And when I say exquisite, I mean entirely edible and yummy in every way.

Every little detail of this show left me on the edge of my seat, and I adored every single second. I was never bored or lost or anything like that.
ABSOLUTELY WICKED-LY WONDERFUL.
I cannot express how much I loved this show, because there just aren’t enough words.

This week? Try something that scares you.
Perhaps it’s defying gravity.
