Kiss me goodbye; I'm defying gravity

Aug 29, 2004 23:17

Adam just left.
This signifies the final trampoline evening of our summer.
I do not know when I will see Adam again.
I am being sulky.

My beautiful best friends, please enjoy going to school together. It kills me, but I'm happy for you guys.

This summer was wonderful, but I will refrain from reflecting as of yet, due to the fact that there are three days left, which I intend to make the most of.

Today, two exciting things happened:

1. I purchased my own cell phone. See me for the number.
2. I informed my mother that all I ask of for my birthday is tickets to see Wicked. That is all, nothing else. (Well, perhaps an additional ticket, so Sara can join me.)

Y'know what is weird, my sweet readers?
Kissing a boy in your dream who you would think you'd never kiss in real life, but, after said dream, realizing how much you'd love to. Ponder.

Sara, Ariel, could you please stop teasing me about that thing you tease me about? You make me feel as if I'm wrong to feel the way you think I do (and I do), which I am not (wrong, that is), and having two of my very best friends make me feel like that is not exactly lovely.

I didn't want to say that to your faces, but I didn't want it to go unsaid either.
Please try not to gloat in the fact that you were right; we still are unsure of how the other party feels.
Not for long though, eh, Toler?

As I spray myself with bug spray, and announce how stinky I am due to the bug spray: It doesn't matter if you stink, as long as you're protected.

WTF, mates?

Toler coughed up every organ in her body tonight.
There were plenty of other amusing things.
"Ooo, Sara, I'll sing you a lullaby as you die!"

I. LOVE. ADAM and SARA.
You too, Ariel.

Ah, the smell of sweat, trampolines, ice cream, and best friends.
