bday continued!
so this post should have the title about cakes since Sunday is when it started. But i digress....
Sunday i worked cuz thats what happens on Sundays then went to the rents for bday dinner that night. Mmmmmmmmm, mommy is a good cook. She made me garlic bread, brocilli salad, perogies/sausage and strawberry angelfood cake for dessert :9 was delicious!!
Monday, my actual birthday, I worked at the daycare and got lotsa hugs and "Happy birthday Teacher Jay/Janine!!" which is pretty awesome. In the afternoon since there was a child in my class with a bday over the weekend, we shared a cake. Now teachers usually do not get cake but since Teachers usually get their bday off and i did not, and the fact that my mom is the cook, I got my ass a cake. With my favourite Disney princess (Belle!) decorating it. Sweet! The kids all sang happy bday to Nicole and I and we ate.
After it was finished and we were cleaning up, one of my favourite kids, Jacoby, came up and sang me happy birthday in French. aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwww!! He's so sweet!!
After work, i did not work at dollarama as usual. I booked it off so went home to hang out. My aunt came by with my presents from her and my other aunt. I got lovely handmade jewelary along with a buddist kit and a goooooooooooooorgeous jewelary box. I looooooooove trinket boxes and jewelary boxes. LOVE THEM! So I was very excited. Sadly, my aunt couldn't stay so was off before my family showed up. Mom and Dad brought chicken wings and Meg and Jake brought a huge ass cake.
Thats right, my THIRD cake!! O.O Jake picked it. it was orange with purple writing on it. Yup, he knows his Neen lol. And was big! i'd brought home the left overs from the daycare cake but they were abandoned. So while we ate Jake turned around and sang me his well rehearsed happy birthday. i nearly cried! How did he get so big that he can sing a song like that?? Babyyyyyyyyyyy.....Meg said he was practicing the whole afternoon. Cutie.
I got my bday stash then. Like in the previous post, the lil family got me an iRewards card that I have already abused. Mom and Dad got me velvet coat hangers which nothing falls off of! As well as a pretty plaque about daughters and hanging picture frames. Kuri got me a gift card for Chapters (good choice furry!) and Steph got me a lap desk for a laptop. SWEET!
So that was my birthday. A nice quiet one. Good oh.
