new years celebrations
heee, is there anything more fun than hanging out with friends and watching movies/eatting/drinking? Well.....I'm sure there is but above mentioned things are cool too. Spent the night at Pebble's rawesome apartment and watched Moulin Rouge and X-Men. Two of my fave movies yo! There was much laughter at silly things, and discussion over how 2004 sucked over all. We want a good year this time.
Reena damn near killed me though!!! Laura was looking for her socks while I was having a drink of punch and Ree cracked in with a "Well maybe you should get naked so much Laura." and I spit my drink up while laughing. Then started choking on it. >.< Fuuuuuuuuuuun. After I could breath again it was hysterically funny though. *giggles in rememberance* It took me most of the night to cough up what had gotten into my lungs thou. Yuck.
We tried to go swimming, but once we were down there, in our suits...the pool was closed for repairs >.< D'oh! So, we piled into the sunna for a little while instead. That lasted what? 10-15 minutes? Our attention spans are so short...
Went back to the apartment after that, watched things and broke out the alchol...and Laura slept ^^;; Damn but tequila rose is good. So was the strawberry wine. Strawberry was the drink theme of the night I think ^^;; Was that when we watched the movies? I can't rmemeber....but Moulin Rouge had audio commentary for the visually impaired and we watched some of that. It was like a book on tape!

Once it was 11:50 we put it on city and watched the stuff from Nathan Philips Square which was barely two blocks away. I wanted to go down to it but everyone else exnayed that idea >.< Once the New Year hit we all gathered in the windows to see if we could see the meger fireworks. No luck. The buildings blocked them out. Teh chibies left after that and the remainder watched some Simpsons and late night talk shows. I fell asleep during Conan like a loser only to be woken up again after it was done to get off the couch so Fluffy could make the bed for Laura and I. So into bed we crawled soon after but all the lights were on so after awhile I crawled back out and turned them all off since the still awake ppl were in Pebble's room.
I had some weird ass dreams too!! o.O; I think it was all the cheese...I wasn't feeling too well in my dreams though and woke up from them wondering wtf was wrong with my stomach. Then I realized I was sleeping on top of my Trax plushie and he was pushing into my stomach >.<;; That fixed it and I slept much better. That pull out was damn comfy.
Laura and I woke up about 9:30 and giggled for a half hour before conking out again until 12:30 when Fluffy was up for a shower and i realized how bad I had to pee >.< I tossed a plushie at him after he came out and we pretty much got up/awake from there. Pebble did not agree with Laura and I's choice of breakfast foods ;_; Chips for breakfast is good! Its still the only thing I've had all day besides some cookies. Ya, this diet is starting out awesomely! We drove home after that and I've been lazy ever since ^^;;
Sooooooooooooo, that was my new years. Exciting no? ^_~ And ahhhh yes! My lj is now 3! happy birthday lj! I'm going to make icons now instead of working on my papers.
