Highlight of Wonderful Things that Happened this weekend

Friday An amazing opening night for all the cast of The Mystery of Edwin Drood Received many compliments including Mr. Micera's "You're on fire!" and my Dad's even more impressive "I've never seen you look so excited and happy to be a character before." It's kind of surprising that so many people have made a comment like my dad because I don't know that I like Helena Landless any better than previous characters...maybe I've just had more room to shine with her or something, who knows?!

Friday night/ Saturday Morning Met Ashleyincontrol for the first time ever randomly which was totally cool. I really hope she has the chance to see our show this weekend and then hang out with us at the diner. Also met some cool girls from the area who thought PV guys are hot...It's obvious that they don't go to our school. hehe. But I played the good samaritan and told them Brian O'Gorman was really not a guy they should seriously consider in their dating plans. hehe. But they seemed really cool and invited me to go bowling and I hope to get to know them more! And the hanging at the diner was just cool itself. I was as-"salted" and pepper-sprayed. Madness abound at the table with Lauren and Joe, Maggie, Joelle, Kelly, Melinda etc. I love you guys! Aah the best part was when the manager yelled at the Lakeland kids and thought they were PV people and when they tried to tell her that they weren't from PV she wouldn't listen. That was great! I guess we have a bad reputation. Although according to my mom no one has ever liked PV people. hehe. Poor us.

Saturday Can you say best Rainy Day in the history of the earth? Jill came up and we hung out. Went to Applebee's for Dinner but had to order it to go to make it to rehearsal. Hung out at rehearsal. Everyone loved you Jill! I was so excited telling everyone who she was. I didn't realize how many people I had mentioned her too. They were all like "Elyse has told me so much about you." and to myself I'd think "Really? I did?" I know I tell everyone about Alex but I didn't realize I blabbed as much about Jill. Hehe. Wow people must really sick of me. Between all my talk of Elon, Jill and Alex they must hate me! hehe. Anyway Saturday night, Jill and I decided to skip the diner and hang out at my house. We went downstairs to the apartment, ate some really great icecream, chatted with Alex on the phone, played some fun games and did generally girly stuff and had a nice first taste of college life together.

Oh and the show was once again awesome! The girls made a clean sweep with me as Datcher, Kara as murderer and Puffer was one of the lovers. Yay! We kicked ass!

Sunday Jill and I go to sleep at 5ish. Wake up again around 10. Hit JV Hot Bagels for breakfast before her Dad picked her up and I headed out to rehearsal. Was ridiculously hyper at rehearsal singing Disney Songs, Father Abraham, the shark song and various other annoying melodies. AND I didn't kill my voice Yay! Jake got murderer, I got lover...AGAIN. hehe. But I love it. It was a great performance. Afterwards I went to B&N treated myself to a Java Chip Frappucino and went shopping- bought myself a new tinkerbell bag and wallet.
Went to sleep around 7:30 due to sheer exhaustion! Yay! Sleep :D

And even though today isn't really a weekend day I will include it anyway because good stuff happened. Monday Made plans in gym to choreograph and aerobic exercise to "Shaka laka Baby" As long as Tony and Kyle stop complaining. Came home to find two new job possibilities- one for this summer. I think I'm going to consider it. Found out that my mom is paying for my Grandma who has never seen me perform in a HS play before to fly up to NY on Thursday and spend the weekend to see my final performances and shows. I can't wait. I haven't seen her since July!!! It's going to be great. Went to Dance for the first time in weeks. Wasn't as great as I had wished, but I felt loved and missed and it was still good to be back. Came home, tried to do homework and then Alex called. I won't talk too much about his wonderfulness cuz you guys would get jealous if you aren't already. hehe. But no, he really is the best thing in my life. It really is an amazing thing to be in love with someone, especially under our circumstances. You know it's love when months later you're still sending doubledigit KB emails and spending hours on the phone as often as possible. I love him. If everyone could find someone half as good as he is for me then the world would be a million times better.

*sigh* I sent him a surprise that I made for him and I am hoping he got to read it before bed so I'm off to check my email to see if there is a response. NO GUYS! I am not obsessed, just in love :P hehe. Lauren- shut up!

Talk to you all soon. Life is great even though its still on hold.
