Not sure . . .
So yesterday we gathered with some of our friends for a family dinner. The food was amazing and I got to eat my first turduckin (chicken inside of a duck all wrapped in side of a turkey) It was good. The company as always was great.
The only thing that made me stop and think was I wore a pair of Khaki's and a sage green twin set. I put on make up which I do only a few times whenever I feel like it, but I wanted to feel pretty so I put it on.
I asked James how I looked and he said "Like you are ready to go to church" I shared this bit with my friend that was there and she agreed with him.
Her reason for agreeing with him was that she said usually when I put make up on I am a bit "vavoom" showing my cleavage a bit and not so conservatively dressed.
So in an effort to look classy and elegant I managed to look like a churchlady. I was not and still am not sure how to take that. Maybe I need a wardrobe make over and a make over of me.
