I was a spoiled little brat when I was a kid, anything I wanted I usually got and my parents mad a lot of sacrifices for me. Of course I didn't realise this until I became a parent.. looking back on it now? I honestly hope my kids never turn out like that. Compared to other kids, I guess I wasn't that bad, we weren't rich but I really didn't need that many toys..and Sure, my kids get spoiled from time to time, but, I don't see the need to be excessive. I'd rather they appreciate the little things in life.

I hardly ever got what I wanted, not until I started working and buying it all myself - but at the same time, when I started working, I also started becoming a cheap skate...lol I never wanted to spend my money and I still don't. I'd rather have money in my pocket and food on my table than any other kind of trinket money could buy.

I'm a cheapskate now.. if I have money, I really don't want to part with it, I'd rather save it and have it for another day or use it towards those basic necessities
