Merry Christmas.....
As we rush through Christmas seasons
With our gifts, and food galore
We might forget to take the time
To recall what the holiday’s for
To me, you see, its Christmas time
Where our hearts are filled with giving
The time to sit and remember those
Both who’ve passed and those still living
To fill our hearts with memories
Of times we’ve shared together
With friends and family near and far
Through all the stormy weather
The wish I have for you, my friends
Is that on Christmas Eve you find
That all the love that’s sent your way
Is the one thing on your mind
No worries of the year to come
Of tasks still yet to do
No thoughts except the knowledge
That people care for you
So as the time approaches fast
I send you on your way
With the prose I write to wish for you
