Not really... I use it to keep in touch with people who are still on it... lots of communities I follow are still only on LJ, but I post my new posts on my dreamwidth, instead. I don't care for a lot of the changes LJ has made in the last six months or so, and the way they ignore the users who have issues with their changes.
