~Me and Ashley are making a documentary which includes the incredible secret spycam filming of Mzzz Nikay Rockwell. (I like the zzz's better i think. hmm..) I am currently seeking funding through various grants, so if anyone knows of any, please pass the info along my way. Thanks! I won't go into detail but the docu could be called "Scenes from MacDade Blvd," "Hey, look! Two girls holding hands!!" "What are they trying to get out of beeps and weird noises?" or things of the sort. ha. Anyway, filming commences on Saturday 9/09. heh.
~Tonight Ash and I are going on a date to KT Tunstall and then to a bar in Malvern/Devonish area for my best friend's sister's birthday. I am excited for good music, my baby, car picnic, and bars not in the city or on MacDade.
~Last night I hung out with Laroo and her son Adam. It was so what I needed. I was feeling slightly jaded and really disheartened about the world and all of it's ills, and to see this 6-year old little boy telling me about his first day of 1st grade lifted my spirits a bit. He said, "This boy put mustard alllll over my hot dog without even asking! And he was 'trouble-talkin' me. And then I got lost in the park at recess and I was crying for my mommy to find me. But today was a better day." :) I love that kid.
~My doctor found a lump under the left side of my rib cage. So that was cool. He said it may be a lipoma, which is just a bunch of tissue that gathers at an injury spot. I am hoping for this. I go on Thursday to have it looked at and to discuss if I need surgery to remove it. Cool. It's had me real worried but I'm trying to think of positive things as not to put the negative "out there to the universe" as Laura says. ha. So I do that on Thursday and have an abdominal/pelvic MRI re-done shortly thereafter cause that looked funny as well. :P
~Work is picking up for the fall. I am so excited for this. I was supposed to go into Smedley MS in Chester to do an assembly for 500+ 6&7 graders on "bullying" (ie, gang violence). CHester police would not go with me to talk about legal consequences AND they suggested I not go because I would be "crucified" and he didn't want to say what he believed would happen to me. I cancelled until I can understand the police/school district fiasco some more. Still, I will NOT give up on Chester. I refuse. I am scheduling Elect Program at the high school as we speak. :) In conclusion, lovin life at work again.
~Ashley and I drew that line and crossed it miles back. Insane I tell you. We ah. ;)

~My little brother started high school on Wednesday. Today is his first day with upper classmen. I'll kick serious ass if anyone messes with him. He is my baby and will always be despite the fact that he is about double my size, ten times my strength and wears a 14.5 shoe. Haaaaaa.
~One of my favorite things to do lately is to run errands and walk to all of them with my baby. I feel married already, standing in line at the deli counter all ordering cheese. ;)
~I am currently obsessed with the following: stewie griffin, the garrison's cat spike, end of the summer fruit, red grapes (as always. ha.), my new purple polka-dotted planner, target, our new trail mix combo in spite of the nut allergy, full house, still richard karn family feud, kt tunstall/ regina spektor/ ani new cds, and wine. :) All of these things intensify incredibly when under the influence of a certain herb. wink wink. haha.
