Three Weeks Later
It has been almost three weeks since Steve and I got married and I have to say that I am so glad we went ahead and got married this year instead of waiting until next year. I am excited about going on the honeymoon next year and I will definitely need a week of rest when the time comes! I need to call the place and find out some details though soon so we have an idea of when we are going and what the cost is going to be. The place we are looking at is http://www.pawpawslanding.com and you should check it out. It is a neat little secluded cabin in Kentucky. My aunt and uncle have been there and they really loved it. It shouldn't be a bad drive over there, about six hours or something I figure. I don't mind driving so that would give us that much more time together. The last few weeks have been kinda crazy and we have done a lot of running around. I think it should start to slow down soon...I hope. I don't think we have anything major planned for this weekend so I am hoping to get some stuff done around the house. I also have an old rocking chair that belonged to someone in Steve's family that I am working on recovering and making it pretty again. It's definitely going to be a work in process but I love a good project! We got a new fish because my old beta finally died after trying to for about a month or two. He was like three years old after all, it was his time. The new fish is a very pretty blue and his name is Picasso. Anyhow, I suppose that is about it for today.
