I think I kind of missed the train on this meme but I think its one of the best ones around and would love if those of you on my friends list would respond. So, to introduce myself - I'm Vanessa (28) and married to Mike (29). We're been together since high school (I refuse to say 'high school sweethearts' because I think that sounds dorky and we didn't actually go to HS together!). We were married July 3rd, 2005 in Boston, MA and we now live in a cute colonial south of Boston. We dote on our spunky little pupster named Maddie, who for right now, is our child, but could pass as a clown any day. We're finally at the point that we're TTC and both excited about it. My husband is on the cusp of fulfilling a dream to be on the Boston Police Department and is currently in the Police Academy. Because of the residency requirements, we need to move into the city and sell our house which I'm not super happy about but am being a supportive wife. I have been an IT project manager for the last 3 years and just very recently, decided to switch jobs to work in Recruiting for my company as I really needed a change.
I love to cook, bake, read, watch TV and movies, and shop - all of which you'll hear alot of in my journal. I love to travel and only wish we had the time and money to do it more often! I also have an interest in photography and unfortunately, little skill, but I keep taking pictures!
