We need to buy a new vaccum for the office and for home.  I've been pining over a Dyson but have no idea which model is best.  Anybody have one that would like to share good and bad?

Thanks!

You've seen pics of Chewy, right? So you know any vaccuum endorsement from me is bound to be worth it... especially if you don't have pets.

We have the Complete (exclusive version from Sears) it's just like the animal, but with a few extra attachements. This thing is really really wonderful. In fact, we have a central vac system (which means industrial strength suction, and huge motor in the basement) but I use the Dyson when all the tubes and heads for the central suck are upstairs and I just want to vaccuum downstairs. Honestly, the Dyson is totally comparable in performance and easy to use.

We've had ours nearly 2 years now and, true to the claims, it works just as well as it did on day one. We haven't done a single thing to it either (I should probably rinse out the inside or something.)

Because I can fill it up nearly four times in one trip around the downstairs during the height of shedding season (remind me to take pictures to document this process this year) I love that it's bagless and easy to open without making a mess out of myself.

Get one. You won't regret it.
