HAPPY (belated) NEW YEAR!!!!
Had a pretty good time. Went to my friend's new house, right around the corner from a good friend. Pleasant suprise. At first it sucked though, because we didn't know anyone there until my other friends from work showed up. Had fun sitting around drinking with them, then went to our other party.
Other party was interesting. I was a little leery because my one friend totally hated me the last time we saw each other, and to be honest I'm still not completely over what a bitch she was at the time. But I arrive, I get hugs, the girls seem to be excited to see me, everything seems to be fine. We hang out, drink a little, play some Dance Dance Revolution (I'm not so bad for a beginner!), and counted down at midnight. Things got a little sketchy after that. We all had a bit too much champagne, danced a little, someone dropped a wine glass which of course I feel guilty about even though it wasn't my fault, played some spin the bottle, and then played some Apples to Apples. Weird game, but kind of fun.
So, overall New Year's Eve was fun, but not spectacular. I'd do it again.
Oh, and the best news of all. For some reason or another, after a night of drinking, I always want a breakfast burrito from McD's for breakfast. We just so happened to be up early enough to hit McD's for breakfast, but everyone was like, Nooooo, it's New Year's Day, they're totally NOT open. Well guess what bitches???? THEY WERE OPEN!!!! Oh man, I was so excited. There's a reason why people like me are overweight.
