Yes, the romance between Amidala and Anakin was laughable(purple prose galore). Yes, it was way obvious that Ani was going to go bad, I mean, hello Lucas, the music was a bit Darth Vader. Yes, Jar Jar Binks doomed the galaxy.
But did you see Ewan?
Mmm. He was amazing. He snarked at Anakin wonderfully. And he sparked with, like, everyone that he shared screentime with.
And I do love Amidala. And Natalie is gorgeous, especially in those outfits. I think that my favorite was the field one. Pretty, pretty woman.
And the audience was great. So into it.
