Vampire Diaries 4x14 -- Down the Rabbit Hole
First the ending: Jeremy still has the ring on, right? So he should come back next episode. Okay, so the promo implies otherwise but w/e, I defy you, promo. Jeremy =/= dead. So there.
re: Bonnie being missing; I'm currently assuming that Silas has taken her for nefarious means and that she will be awesome and figure out a way to get away from him next week. Yup. That's what I'm going with.
And Katherine likely does want the cure to shove it down Klaus's throat? I mean, it's hard to picture her wanting to be human herself, especially since then she'd have just turned herself into Klaus's handy blood-bag.
Jeremy knows Grams isn't real because he can actually see the dead. That's an awesome way to make that clear. Yay for Jeremy's ability being useful.
They basically just straight-up compared the sire bond to love by having Caroline use very similar words in 'releasing' Tyler that Damon did with Charlotte. That was... a writing choice.
Stefan Salvatore: fount of compassion. Wow. Dude.
Klaus also completely misses the point when it comes to pity/mercy/compassion/etc. It's not just for/because of people you like already.
I do not blame Elena for however screwed up she'll be next week. The hits keep coming.
