Breaking glass, breaking lights. Things shattering, over and over. The first thing that I thought of was a shared dream that they were being forced into - the walls shift and Chloe walks through them. I'm very reminded of the replicators from SG-1. But, yes, my thought is borne out by Chloe - the team is trapped in a virtual world.
Really liked this episode. It was a strong way to bring Chloe back and I loved all the Clark/Lois stuff so much. Those two are so in love. It's just the most beautiful thing ever. You want epic - that's an epic love. "I believe in you," Lois tells him and you can just see Clark's entire world light up in his eyes. And Clark was wearing blue and Lois was wearing red during the dream flight. And they have such great chemistry. That really is such an important element, how well the actors connect to each other on screen.
Great episode. I missed Tess, though. I love her. I hope she's back next week.
(I liked the little call-out/slip that Lois made - she's gotten used to Tess being Watchtower. Aw)
