I was with family all day, so this has been my first chance to watch the new special.
Oh. Oh.
He's fighting to hard not to die, not to change. He compared regeneration to death. He doesn't feel like he's walking out of this him, even if he does come back. That's interesting and makes sense in light of his reactions to date.
I don't know what I think yet. I'm... overwhelmed. It was crack and it was drama and there was comedy and it was Who. Thoroughly Who.
Donna is remembering (of course, she is). The Master has returned. The Timelords. And they are... ominous. They were never the good guys; just the people with the most power.
Giving the Doctor a gun. This Doctor and a hatred of guns has been a theme.
It all goes back to the beginning. Declare a do-over and return to status quo? That would be something of a relief for the Doctor and he's not gotten much of that.
I don't know. I've been up for nineteen hours. I don't know what I think yet.
