“If being with the Jedi has taught me anything, it’s just how valuable knowledge can be,” Anakin said.
Well, at least he learned something! :)
Another marvel to Obi-Wan was how easily Anakin sensed droids - Obi-Wan could but it was profoundly different, and far more difficult, than sensing lifeforms. To Obi-Wan, droids buzzed like unpleasant but unobtrusive insects, and didn’t feel at all like the clean and soft pulses and purrs of people.
Lovely description here. :) And it reminds me of Nita and Kit in Diane Duane's the Young Wizard series (which starts with "So You Want to be a Wizard?" -- when someone asks me to recommend something since they finished the Harry Potter books, I always mention this series, and of course Susan Cooper's "The Dark is Rising" sequence). Kit's speciality is machines and Nita's is living things, in much the same way that we see with Anakin and Obi-Wan. :)
I love that Obi-Wan likes Anakin's mutterings, and also that Obi-Wan had not noticed 3PO's silver leg.
No matter how much Anakin might grown to like his children in the time they had spent here, Obi-Wan was certain that Anakin could not possibly care more for them than he did Padmé.
Well, Obi-Wan would see it as best that Anakin and Padme not have children. And yes, I can't imagine Anakin choosing his children over Padme.
I'm glad to see that C3PO has his memory back! That might be an important plot point. :)

I do believe that desire is clouding their judgement. *tsk*

Hee, yes.

Oh, yes, I really like that parallel. I'm fond of those books as well, and especially of Nita and Kit's friendship.

It'll definitely affect things!
Thank you.
