Well, I got home last night to Mike doing laundry & dishes! Woo hoo for Mikey being on vacation!!! He threw a load in before I left for work today. His goal is to have all the laundry done before he goes back to work. We're going to do major house cleaning with my long weekend. It'll be nice to start the new year with an organized house!
Today he is down to my parents' house fixing the truck. For some reason Mom floated us the money to buy the parts without us asking. Odd.... Maybe because Dad was going to loan my brother money for a pair of boots while we were down there for Christmas? Not sure. I mean it doesn't bother me that they were going to loan him money, he needed the boots. Still, for them to offer without us asking for the money is a little out of character. I'm not going to complain though. I'm grateful that they are lending it to us since we really didn't have the cash for the parts right now.
Anyway my husband is a doll.
