(no subject)
We got our first good sticking snow on Sunday. It was really coming down hard on our way to church. We were afraid that out parents wouldn't be able to make it to the children's program, but they all came. The kids id well. Dawndra sang well, but forgot hte cue for her line, so she missed it. Of course, the music director missed the cue too, so only those who knew Dawndra was suppoed to say the line knew she missed it. Kennedy sang so well! He was cute, all worried about his angel wings!
It was a balmy 0 at 8 am yesterday. Today's high should be inthe 40s so I am happy. Tonight it is supposed to start raining and snowing and we may get 7"-9". Real bad since I have to drive the kids down to Mom's in the morning (an hour away) before I head to work. Hmm...I may need to work something else out.
Dawndra is out of school until the new year. Poor kid. We told her it would be next year before she went back to school and she thought she would be in 2nd grade when she went back. :-)
I know what I am getting for Christmas! (Because I picked it out!) Mike wanted to get me a new diamond ring for Christmas, so we went a few nights ago and picked out a beautiful one! I get it on Christmas Eve, so I can't wait until Friday.
I got all my Christmas shopping for everyone done in one day! I finally broke down Friday and cashed my check and just hit the mall. Mike yelled when he found out how much I spent in one day, but when he realized that that amount was for every present for every one on our list he calmed down.
The Santa presents are bought. Dawndra is getting her cheer shoes that I couldn't find here(I had to go over an hour away to get them) and Kennedy is getting the Spiderman web blaster that I told him I would NEVER get for him. I think they will like their Christmas this year.
