Dawndra got her first report card. She got an A in reading, B in math S+ in conduct & music, and Ss in everything else. We had our PT conference and she is doing good and her teacher just loves her. Trish (her teacher) told me that when the K teachers, even the ones who didn't have Dawndra in class, heard who
she got they all said that she would love Dawndra. That makes a mom feel great!
Dawndra finished up soccer and did decent her last game. She finally got her agression level up a bit and managed to steal the ball and assist a goal. Dawndra starts cheeering in February instead of basketball. Mom paid the $75 fee because she had such a good report card. Well, that and she knew that we couldn't cought up that much cash before thr holidays. My moma nd Mike's mom spoil the kids so much. Hmmm.. so do our Dads.
Speaking of spoiling...
Went ot my MIL Sunday night and she gave the kids a whole bunch of teddy bears. Yep, we had just got done talking about how much we needed to clean out of their rooms. I smelled on of her candles and she told me I could have it and gave me two more!
And for me..... I've been to 2 doctor appts. this week. My right ankle starting hurting so bad that I thought it was getting ready to break! The specialist said that there doesn't appear to be any major bone deformity, but it was more than likely a nerve that is pinched between my knee and ankle. So, I am now sporting an ankle brace and 2 wks. worth of Celebrex until my next visit. If my poor ankle is not better I have to do an electrical stimulation assessment where they put electric through my nerves to find the problem.
I have a little Christmas shopping done, but I need to do a lot more. And the school just oked another fundraiser.
So, that is pretty much it.
