Meditation Mediation

So my mom got me virusscan.

It came attached on our family's verizon account. Which includes MSN.

Which includes an additional ELEVEN ACCOUNTS not including the primary account, which pays all the monies associated with it.

....and now it has TEN additional open accounts.

:D That's right! I have MSN! I have an awesome explorer and a brand new side bar that tells me the weather, how my downloads are going, what's coming up on my schedule (since I programmed it and all) in the next week, what I need to do for it, AND WHETHER OR NOT MY EMAIL COMES IN. Yes, friends, the INSTANT you hit submit on your livejournal comment, I GET IT. Notice I've been responding within five minutes of given comments? :D :D :D

Next year, when I give out email adresses for jobs and scholarships and colleges, that's the one I'll use. Personal email still goes to buttered_onions, at least until next year when I won't have given it out to half a million teachers and friends. It's a little late to switch now, but I can get the things I care about the fastest and that's what matters to me. :D It even makes a cute little sound, which Yahoo!beta didn't do.

Plus, it's @msn.com . How official is that.

AND THE BEST PART?

FREE MUSIC.

FREE PERSONALIZED ONLINE RADIO.

It's called Pandora--you type in the name of an artist, and it creates a radio station for you with not just that artist or song, but others like it. You can send them instant feedback saying hey, I like this song, hey, I don't like this song, and the genome remembers it and dishes out better and better music until it's just what you want. :D

Though this innovative technology I have discovered Jim Brickman, who is going on my Christmas wishlist as a rival for David Lanz and Lorie Line as amazing, offertory-worthy-I-wanna-play-like-you-can artists.

This thing is just so amazing.

I meant to go to bed half an hour ago, but the thing keeps spitting out meditative piano music at me. It's putting me to sleep.

...just one more song, Mommy...

music, computer
