you know something's wrong when your roommate goes to bed before you

1~! Slept until 11.
2~! Took a nice shower and washed my hair, it felt good.
3~! Went over Aural Skills homework with Heidi in the evening, which was nice because i made a lot of stupid mistakes, like answering "G" for a multiple choice question with possible answers A through D.
4~! Had dinner with Heidi, Subway picnic out on the hill in the sunshine with smoothies
5~! Wrote a seven-page paper in two hours and ten minutes. I WIN .

I don't win,a ctually. I was actually going to make this a post about how sick I am and how much life sucks, how I sent in an email sick to stage movement this morning and went back to sleep and now I feel terrible about it, how I'm worried about my grades in all my classes even though I have no reason to be, how I had to play the piano today publically and ugh, I didn't like it even though everyone else did, how my head hurts and my nose burns and I can't breathe and I have so much to do and not enough time, two weeks is not enough time, yet I really just wish I was out of school so I could stop and breathe and be at home, where there will be no homework, there will be friends, and I can breathe, literally, because whatever I am allergic to here I am apparently NOT ALLERGIC TO AT HOME, WTH.

Also because I am stressed I am apparently rushing everything, as I have been told. >< I play my piano piece too fast, I work too fast in proprac, the things I write are moving along too quickly because I have so much to do I just want to get it all done because I have other things to do because ther is so much. This state of mentality will not vanish the instant the school year's done, I reckon, but although it's understood and I understand it, it makes it really hard to unwind when everything needs to get done and get done now or soon or yesterday. It's ...yeah.

Eew. Everything is of course a bigger deal because I am sick. Absolutely.

I wonder how long it'll take me to fall asleep tonight?

Oh, and on another good note, I did apply for my music minor today, and I got a thank-you card for a stage management gig that I did. So there, seven good things about today :) And the eighth one is that I get to sleep in until 8:30 tomorrow - a potential seven hour and a half hours of sleep! Whee!

college, five good things, music, sick, theatre
