Dad called yesterday to tell me he's back in the hospital. Basically he got sick again and his blood pressure dropped, so he was taken to the Terre Haute hospital, and they transferred him to the IU hospital in Indy. He's doing better, but they still haven't figured out quite what's wrong. His blood tests are all clear, and they've tested him almost every other way possible. He said the only thing they haven't done is a colonoscopy, and they won't do that while he's sick because if it really is a problem in his colon, it could spread. But they think it could be the effect his blood pressure medicine is having on his intestines, and it may explain why he gets sick. So they're sending him home tonight, and I'm going to leave around 5:30 to pick him up, drop him at home, and drive back. I don't really mind, though, because I haven't seen my dad in a while, and I'm trying to make this more and more of a priority the more I realize that he's 51 and won't be around forever. Plus, I'm not doing anything tonight anyway...oh yeah, and he's giving me money and a full tank of gas :D

Otherwise, things have been all right lately. Mom was also sick, though, with a sinus infection. She's stayed home from work 3 days now, and hopefully she can go in tomorrow. But she and I went to the grocery a few nights ago and got TONS of food, most of which was to try out some recipes in her new Pampered Chef cookbook. She made Apple Berry Salsa, and it's delicious~~ Most of you have had my mom's fruit pizza, right? Well, the salsa (when eaten with snicker doodle cookie crisps) tastes JUST like mini-pizzas! :3
