Today was strange. This morning, I woke up and ate breakfast, did all my usual stuff...whatever. And I always feel bad about making any kind of noise, because Emily is usually still sleeping. I think I've been especially clumsy lately, meaning that I'm dropping, hitting, and running into things even more, therefore creating more noise. >.<
So this morning, as if I didn't feel bad enough about walking in and out of the room repeatedly, blow drying my hair, and making loud noises, some repair guys finally came into our hallway to fix this apparently persistent flooding/leaking problem.
At 8:00.
And even though I was awake, I was like, 'Are you fucking kidding me?!' More than half our floor was still sleeping (or at least until they started DRILLING). But I really couldn't believe it.
They should have a rule that you can't start doing any work that involves extremely loud noise until at least 9:00 AM. That's how it was with band; because so many houses were around us, the people asked us to implement this "No playing before 9:00 AM/after 9:00 PM" rule, and we did. Because it's logical and polite.
But apparently the maintenance guys at IU don't feel that way at all.
Hah, whatever. The rest of today was just bleh.
I had my first midterm (International Studies), and I finished it in 15 minutes. I was really well prepared, for once.
And, I voted! But that's all I'm saying about that.
